About Me

Hi, my name is Fergus Scrutton. This website acts as a personal showcase of my recent projects, events and, of course, myself. I'm currently a third-year undergraduate Economics student at the University of York.

When I'm not working or studying, I can usually be found pursuing one of the following; photography, politics, audio, swimming, cycling, reading, cinema, gaming or drinking coffee.

  OISWYDT is a bizarre creation borne from my persistent use of the above phrase, and need to find an equally bizarre birthday present for Joe Conway.

  It is likely to be one of the least productive things I have ever put my name to. But he loved it. What can I say?

• UYSWC Promotional Cards

  I designed these cards as part of my promotional material set for the University swimming an waterloo club's recruitment drive at the start of the 2009 academic year. My aim was to provide a concise source of all the relevant information a new, potential or current member would need for the forthcoming year; including pricing, sessions times and how to find the swimming pool, in an eye-catching and professional manner.

  The design was carried through to the poster campaign, and they were part of a successful marketing action during the first few weeks of term.
